Q: How long has EES Madrid been presenting qualified, native EFL teachers and other staff to schools, and companies in Spain?

A: Since 1986.


Q: What is the first step?

A: Call our office and have a chat with Richard Harrison, the Director. He will ask you for the required information to get started over the phone. Or, you may prefer to fill in the “Teacher Service” form which features on the Web. Richard will also be able to clear up any doubts you may have regarding how the service works.

Q: How long does the presentation process take?

A: This depends on several factors such as the profile required of the candidate, the time of year and how attractive the salary, conditions and location are. With established client schools the amount of time taken can be as little as a few hours or one day for the next.

 


Q: Can I look at C.V.s , check references and speak to candidates before proceeding to the interview?

A: Yes, of course. You may decide not to continue to the face-to-face interview stage or to simply request more candidates at absolutely no extra cost. In the end, the decision to a) offer a position and b) accept a position is left entirely to the two parties; employer and teacher.

In many cases an employer may decide to offer a position over the phone in order to speed up the process.

 


Q: What happens if the teacher fails to settle, leaves or proves to be unsatisfactory?

A:  EES Madrid will provide another candidate totally FREE of charge if this happens during the first two months that the original teacher is with you.


Q: How much does the service cost?

A: The cost of the service is calculated as a percentage of the gross monthly salary of the teacher. It is a “one-off” payment paid in two equal parts. The first part is when you give us the go-ahead to present candidates and the other half once the teacher has started work with you (during the first twelve days). Should the teacher continue with you for an additional year or years, there is NO FURTHER CHARGE. Please ask Richard for complete details.
